Death Valley Note Card Set
One of our National Park Service best kept secrets. As a result of our many trips, Death Valley became one of our favorite parks. Colorful, dynamic and full of life, from November through March it is a fascinating National Park to visit. Our first visit during the Super Bloom of 2005 was a discovery accident. After that, we couldn’t stay away.
An Assortment of National Park Photographs
Our mountain parks are always phenomenal. From the depths of the Grand Canyon to the heights of Half Dome and the falls at Yosemite and to the quiet beauty of Grand Teton National Park, scenic beauty fills our eyes and hearts.
Bison in Yellowstone National Park Note Card Set
The Great Plains were once filled with this majestic animal. Today the Bison is our National Mammal and is protected in Yellowstone and Tetons National Parks. During the winter, the Bison come down to the geyser valleys of Yellowstone to stay warm and feed on the grasses just below the melting snow. In the fall, herds of bison move through the grassland, putting on weight for the coming winter and getting ready to produce the next generation.
Denali National Park Note card Set
One year we were privileged to travel through Denali National Park when the Mountain was out and visible for several days. The local rangers and back country guides assured us this was a unique event that almost never happened. As we rode the 90 mile road through the Park to the lodges tucked away in the interior of the Park, views of The Mountain, streams and lakes unfolded before our eyes. One evening, the guides honored our request to get us out for an Alpine Glow view of Denali, as the sun almost set about midnight. Truly a special National Park.
Grand Teton National Park:
The quiet beauty of this under-appreciated National Park is its most striking feature. The Teton mountain range juts abruptly from the flat plane where the Snake River runs and in the fall, colors and animals abound. A great place to rejuvenate and refresh.
Yosemite and Grand Canyon National Parks Note card Set
Two of our most popular National Parks, visited by Americans and travelers from all over the world. Always changing, always gorgeous any time of year, and impossible to see in their entirety in one visit, these two National Parks merit many visits. We’ve been honored to be able to do that over the course of many years and many seasons.
